Concept: A Good Time for Gdańsk

When summer leaves, Gdańsk changes register. The beaches open up, the old shipyard streets get their quiet back, and the city is finally a place you walk instead of queue. Dobra Pora na Gdańsk, A Good Time for Gdańsk, is Visit Gdańsk’s campaign for that season: an autumn city break, not another peak-month postcard.

The film follows a couple through the city after the crowds have gone. The job was to make off-season feel like the right season, and to send people to the free 2-, 3- and 5-day plans on Visit Gdańsk.

A destination film for tourism boards, cities, and regions in Gdańsk, Pomorskie, and Poland that need the place to feel lived, not listed.

Our Input

Gdańsk is not one backdrop. Our crew moved across the city and built separate setups so the couple could pass through more than one face of it: shore, streets, the industrial grain of the post-shipyard side.

Kamargo Production House ran the full job on the ground: scouting, logistics, pre-production, filming, drone and ground coverage, and post. With DoP Thony Kamargo we played with natural light and a travel-film pace, wide enough to hold the city, close enough to keep the two people inside it.

The same pipeline we use for tourism and destination films across Pomorskie and Poland: one crew, one move, campaign-ready from the first scout to the last grade.
